MANDATORY PERFORMANCES FOR ALL STUDENTS:
Spring Sessions: Picture Day, Spring Recital & Rehearsal
Summer Sessions: Miss Amboy Pageant & Depot Days Parade
Fall & Winter Sessions: Amboy Christmas Walk & Holiday Showcase

REQUIRED CLASS ATTIRE:
All Dance Classes:  Appropriate dance clothing must be worn. Jeans, baggy & distractive clothing will not be permitted. Hair must be worn up. 


REQUIRED CLASS SHOES:

Street shoes will not be allowed to be worn in the dance room.

Combination dance classes will need Tan Tap & Jazz Shoes.

Hip Hop classes will need black sneakers with white soles; cannot be worn outside. 

Acro & Tumble Class: Bare feet, Convertible, Stirrup, or Footless tights, grippy socks.

Competitive Classes including Hip-Hop: individual shoes will be assigned to each class.


GENERAL STUDIO POLICIES:

  • Please examine the price list carefully. 
  • Cash, check, debit/credit cards or Paypal are accepted. 
  • Starlight Dance Studio does have strict returned check fees and late fee policies.
  • There is a $35 check return fee for each check returned.
  • Tuition is due on the listed schedule.
  • A late fee of $10 will be assessed following a 7 day grace period.
  • After two weeks, a $25 fee will be applied.
  • After three weeks, there will be a termination from the program.
  • Refunds will not be given for any reason. However, as circumstances allow, account credits may be issued.
  • Starlight will follow the Amboy schools’ inclement weather policy. If school is released early or not in session due to weather  (including, not limited to heat, storm, or snow) Starlight classes will not meet.
  • Classes will be rescheduled as necessary. Starlight Dance Studio will be closed the following days: President's Day, *Starlight's Spring Break*, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day,  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. 
  • Thank you for understanding and abiding by our policies.

  • Starlight is continuing to monitor and adjust our guidelines and policies to reflect the pandemic.
